I don’t mind gladden but he does stumble and bumble a lot. Cory is the real deal Holyfield

I tend to be pretty gracious, and once in a while, I think Gladden has an insight, but most of the time I don’t think his comments add anything. And the innings where he has play-by-play are painful. My son was a broadcasting major, so I’ve picked up some things from him. For example, say the score! Listen for how often there is a scoring play, and he doesn’t give the update. Particularly with baseball, where people may not be following closely, that’s just a basic.

 

But I’m with you on Provus. And when Gladden is on vacation, the Provus-Atteberry team is really good. They actually complement each other.

Are those the ones that smell good?

I don’t know how they smell, but they’re the opposite of all my ex girlfriends. Low maintenance

It really is amazing that gladden gets 4 innings of calling MLB games per day

With Magill now DFA'd and with 36 players on the 40 man, it almost appears to me that something is in the works. However, whatever that may entail is anyone's guess.

I don’t think there’s a trade in place, only that the front office is now clearing the deck for both trades in general and the players they want to add internally for the second half.

I think it's just the cheap Pohlads not wanting to pay for an entire 40 man roster.

I was just thinking about this. I want the final out of the World Series (Twins will be at Target Field obviously) to be a fly ball to the outfield, because Provus has the “playable” call I love so much... You know it’s usually just a routine fly ball when he says it’s playable.

 

...just not a fly ball to Rosario maybe :)
