Game Thread: Twins vs. Rays 5:10 PM PST (7:10 PM CDT) 6/25/2019

[Fritzderkat]

I voted for him for the all-star game, figured if folks really want to see who's who in the game, they ought to see Buxton. He might only be hitting .260 but if he legs out a double on a line-drive to right-center, folks will jump and shout. it ought to be seen. The fielding goes without saying.

[Darius]

After watching the rotting corpse of zomvie Homer Bailey shut down the Twins....I’m kind of terrified of Blake Snell.

Confeve?

I kid. Yes, Twins, go.

[snotboogie]

I miss Buck. Anyone have a non-satirical update?

I’m at the game. I miss him running onto the field. Just watching him run is.... something. (Not satire)

[Blake]

Had to switch to the Ray feed.

I couldn't take any more of the Bounty Daisy cutter commercial.

Welp, back to Bounty Daisy cutter on the FSN feed, as it appears I cannot escape.

Sano's handled his chances well so far, he's made like 4 of the 6 outs so far.

[Don Walcott]

Nice job, Eddie!! C’mon CJ!

[David HK]

He's looked good so far on D.

Today, I really want to see something out of that Offensive Lineman with the bat. How about it, Randall McD... I mean, Miguel?

[Don Walcott]

Tortuga!!

[glunn]

Astudillo beats out an infield single? I wish I was able to see that.

[bird]

This game thread got off on the wrong foot.

Speaking of wrong foot, Ryan's medical stall wudda sawed off the wrong one.

[Don Walcott]

Tortuga!!

That was one of my favorite catches ever!!

[snotboogie]

I know Turtle has his haters, but man is he entertaining.

[Brock Beauchamp]

Astudillo rarely makes things look pretty but he does an okay job of getting it done.

[David HK]

That- was simply awesome.

And a nice job by Bartman Jr., getting out of the way.

[Blake]

Astudillo made sure he protected the ball as he hit the ground, didn't he?

[Blake]

Well, Astudillo continues to prove that putting the ball in play is better than a strike out.

Wouldn't it be great to see 9 players with 20+ home runs in the Twins lineup in October?

[bighat]

Well done, Schoop. Maybe those days off did him some good, we'll take a long ball from the #9 hitter any day.

[Danchat]

That was a Rosario-esque HR from Schoop!

Thank heavens for the 26 man roster next season. Custom made decision.

Cave's bat against Snell.

Cave's bat.

Bat cave.

[bighat]

Rosario doing a great job of hitting what they give him lately! He's looking much more like a batting average guy than a power hitter of late - no complaints!

[Danchat]

Maybe a day off was just what the doctor ordered for the offense! This is more like it!

This is a nice inning.
