Nah, a bit too hifalutin for us hayseeds.

[Blake]

Dinner went quite well and, pro tip, it's possible to have the birthday card waiting on the table for your arrival with a bit of advanced planning.

Some will say that Sano could be sent down and Gonzalez can play third, and that would okay, but not ideal. Gonzalez is a subpar hitter and I don't see that changing.

Even injured he might be better than Sano right now.

[Blake]

If you understand this... you'll understand that.

They need a new Oscar category: Best injury writhe in soccer.

My sentiments exactly!

It occurs to me if dinner really went quite well, you wouldn't be here on the game thread.

Alternatively, if the game thread really went quite well, both of you would be posting between bites of dinner.

Muat we also raise our standards?

[yarnivek1972]

I suspect we may find out if Baldelli wants to try Astudillo in the OF (or Areaez I suppose - but he has a grand total of 66 OF innings as a pro, 49 of which were before he turned 20)

Yes Sir... Jethro himself.

[Mill1634]

Ryne Harper has really surprised me. In a good way

The Six Fat Dutchmen! My dad's favorite band.

Top of the eight with no outs. The Twins have 4 more outs in which to win the game.

[USAFChief]

make me look stupid, Sano.

edit: the ultimate insult to Sano. They bring in a LHer with spotty command to pitch to him in a 1 run game.

A true expert in multi-tasking.

I shouldn't have attempted to watch this game - gotta get up early tomorrow. I'll leave you with this final bit of wisdom.
