It has always bugged me that KANSAS City was located in MISSOURI. 

 

As I look at the script on the front of their uniform... I'm grateful that they finally changed the name. 

 

I would have settled for MISSOURI City but Los Reales is fine with me.

Hiya gang, afraid I cant stick around. Looks like a bad 1st for Perez but he's settled down.

Could I oblige someone for a brief rundown on how he's looked?

 

Efficient 1-2-3 innings the last 2 innings. Getting ground balls and not getting too deep into counts.

 

He hasn't struck out a batter yet. Not really fooling guys - but he's pitching against the Royals so he can just kinda throw it down the middle and let them get themselves out.

 

He hasn't been dominant in any way, nothing encouraging, nothing overly awful. He's continuing his steady run of unimpressive outings.

Sano has 95 at bat in 2019 so far, 45 of them are strikeouts. He is actually getting worse. Half of his at bat is going to be strikeouts.

Twins tie it up and Perez walks the leadoff guy the next inning. Twins have really been under my skin the past week with stuff like this. I feel like Aggie right about now as my grump-o-meter starts jumping.

Over the past 44 innings of baseball the Twins have played, they've held a lead for a grand total of 2 half-innings. A brief 4-3 lead in Boston for one and Kepler's walk-off was the other.
