Han Joelo Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 My Gameday has mercifully frozen up. Can't keep up with the scoring, I guess.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 The Twins are in the same division as the Indians. The Twins are not in the same league as the Indians. yarnivek, out. btw, I mentioned about a month ago that my wife and I were working toward adopting a teenaged girl. On Saturday we will officially take over her foster care and start down the path to adoption.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Boy, it feels like we're picking up right off from the 2016 season. Did the 2017 season even happen? So I think it's safe to say that Cleveland is as good as some of us thought here, it'd simply take them a bit to heat up. They have the talent to easily win this division.
Han Joelo Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Okay, I see they got the last out. Took half the team to do it, but still.
Han Joelo Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 I'm going camping out of cellphone range again this weekend. When I get back, I expect to see big changes. And I'm not talking about a two game winning streak.
ChrisKnutson Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 I think it’s time to make some moves like we did last year. A message needs to be sent to this club that time is running out, especially for Molitor.
OTPS300 Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 I turned on the game just in time to see Rosario back-picked off first. Seriously...that's not "cute." It's not "Just Eddie being Eddie." It's not "just being aggressive." It's way too often, and it needs to stop. Is Molitor in charge of this team? Or is Eddie? There are plenty of things causing the Twins to lose that aren't his fault. Some things not anyone's fault. Playing stupid baseball is not one of those things. When Molitor was named manager, people rejoiced because now the team will play solid fundamental baseball, especially on the base paths. Molitor had great instincts as a player, but instincts can't be taught. I don't see anything positive from this team that I can credit to Molitor. Sorry to say this folks but I am starting to miss Gardy.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 My bad. I closed Gameday to eat, and when I turned it bask on, it was in English..... Just before Cleveland remembered how to hit

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Lindor is way too pull happy. He needs to take two and slap it softly the other way.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Rogers gets through the inning...
jimmer Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Lindor is way too pull happy. He needs to take two and slap it softly the other way.Don't you ever get tired of taking pot shots at Mauer and does it need to happen in games threads (especially in games when Mauer isn't even playing)?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Lindor is way too pull happy. He needs to take two and slap it softly the other way. Is this a double negative? Complaining about the other team not playing up to their potential? I am not worthy!

David HK Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Come on, gang! Let's mount another of those improbable comebacks that inevitably come up a few runs short!

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 1, 2018 Author Posted June 1, 2018 And these ... these are older and I’ve had them for about 15 years. I refer to them as my clown shoes, for obvious reasons, at least to me ... because they look like big clown shoes. I bought them in Berlin and still wear them. They are comfort shoes.
