sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 That might be the most boring story ever. Thanks for sharing! You're welcome. Though it was only the first installment... Fancy shoe place on a camping trip. Were you camping in Central Park? Place was Limmers somewhere round North Conway, NH. Had pictures around the shop of their hiking boots on the summits of important mountains all over the place.
Han Joelo Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 No back on topic for me. I was on topic earlier and the game was a total downer. Since shoe talk the team has come back. Yikes Lindor with another home run. 8-9Thats what I meant. Talk about shoes.

Han Joelo Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Lol, I don’t know. Is a licorice lickosphere like this?https://hyperice.com/hypersphereYes! It is! You buy one of those tubs of Red Vines at Costco, let it warm up in your car, and then shape it into a ball.
David HK Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Reed has not been right lately. Cleveland announcers are saying the same. Maybe he needs a short mystery-injury DL spell to recoup from the over-use so far this year.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Reed being way overused or what? Maybe. But Ramirez and Lindor are on another level.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Wow. Great play by Morrison, also stupid stupid base running
David HK Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Whoa, LoMo. Good job bailing out Reed there. Well, from what I hear on the radio, anyway.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 I might have gotten my exciting double play for real now... But it was too exciting and may be reviewed on both ends?
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Uh. What happened? Help a brother out. Also, maybe don't pitch Reed every day....

jokin Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Wow. Great play by Morrison, also stupid stupid base running There's always something each year in baseball where you see something kinda crazy that nobody has ever seen before.*** *** And then it anti-climatically nearly gets completely ruined with 5 minutes of standing around and waiting for a decision from the overlords in New York.
S. Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Uh. What happened? Help a brother out. Also, maybe don't pitch Reed every day....Lomo apparently was like 1cm away from actually touching the bag at first, threw home and i'm pretty sure the runner was actually safe but called out, and then the ball was thrown back to first for the force play that wasn't called initially. Or thats my understanding of what i just watched.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 1, 2018 Author Posted June 1, 2018 What a fustercluckDo you need the shoe?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Uh. What happened? Help a brother out. Also, maybe don't pitch Reed every day.... Runners at the corners, grounder to first fielded. Morrison goes to touch first, then fires home for the tag at the plate. He might not have touched first in the hurry to get the ball home, so calls for the ball afterwards, as the runner pulled up.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Uh. What happened? Help a brother out. Also, maybe don't pitch Reed every day....Agree. Looked like LoMo touched the bag and threw to home. Unclear whether Brantley touched home with a finger tip, but not enough to overturn. And throw to first after the tag at home got Encarnaxion anyway. Tired looking Reed got bailed out big time.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Garver's tag was in the back, so the hand might have snuck into the plate first, but out call was not over turned. Morrison was short on the first step, but might have rocked into the bag turning to throw, but that was moot due to his heads up call to Garver afterwards.

However, on the Garver "heads up play", I believe Morrison should be the one given credit. He yelled for the ball, or at least that is what it appeared like on TV
