Lynn throwing 94-95 in the zone. Looks like the guy we thought we signed.

I honestly didn't know Lynn threw that hard.

So if Lynn makes it through this inning do we bring in Hughes to try to chew some innings to give the pen a breather?

Uh, no.

So, it will probably happen.

Not sure if Molitor is brave enough to give Hughes a 6 run lead.   I'd rather see Magill or Rogers eat the innings.   Not that they are much more inspiring.

Boy, this game-  finally.

This is the Lynn I was wetting myself over when we (finally) signed him.

That short spring was not good, for him or the club.

Maybe-- maybe-- maybe, this is a sign of him settling in?

Oh, God, did I just jinx everything?

you'd think this would be a good time to use Hughes

Use him for what?   Clean up the seeds in the dugout?    Throw the jerseys in the wash?     Head up the booth and chat with Dick and Roy?   Surely you don't mean pitch against a batter.

So, it's a 6-run lead--  isn't that safe enough to try Phil for an inning here?

Wt...heck?

Would you trust Hughes right now?

Rosario is a prime example why we shouldn’t gnash our teeth over a hitter struggling through 15 games.

Can we all stop doing that, please?

Our Eddie's are mashing. I'm telling you, another good game from Escobar tomorrow and he's the MLB AL Offensive Player of the Week.

I did feel a bit of a chill in the air.

I've heard Hell is in ND (at Minot AFB, to be exact), but I guess SD is close enough to be affected by extreme weather events there.

I will work on that.
