Try "remove control panel, attempt repair, attempt to replace control panel, buy new dishwasher". :).

Are you from Duluth? My Grandparents lived there and my Mom went to school at UMD; so did my brother, for that matter.

all at the same time??

Went to UMD and lived there for 3 years after graduating.

Those hills are something ... good way to practice driving a stick shift, and starting after a stop going uphill. Heh ... my brother's car was parked on a side street close to the corner and a truck going uphill had a tire come off and rolled a distance down and SMASH! into my brother's car. I'm sure it wasn't funny to him at the time ... but I think the visual of the storry is funny.

Quick update: Gibson is hanging tough, still striking out people, though the pitch count is a bit high and the walks need to stop.

Twins still up 4-0, though.

This is a CBU stand-in update.

Hopefully, we will see the real CBU in the near future.

I've actually given up...the controls are on the top (hidden when door is closed) and I can't find a video on removing it.

"Pry off with crowbar" seems risky.

$125 just for them to come out and look..   (sears)

I don't  know your model, but a lot of stuff can be similar:

I had a cousin who worked for the city of Duluth.

He was the guy who went out and made potholes on the streets to give the guys who fix potholes something to do.

He was better at it then the other guys.

Neither Baltimore IFer seemed particularly interested in stopping that throw from the catcher.

I'm okay with that.

I carried mail for most of the 3 years after I graduated, and did a lot of bicycling as well. My legs were in great shape after that.

IF the "same dishwasher for 37 years" was not a reference to marital bliss, and your panel is electronic, there ain't much to fix. I tried to repair my daughters d/w. The panel wasn't repairable, and a new one cost about the same as a new one. And installing a new one is a job for a contortionist with really small hands!

thanks...but that seems like a lot of work.

"Pry off with crowbar" sounding less and less risky.

Sounds like a last resort. First, double check that an error code isn't showing on the display - take a sledge hammer to it.

My son says Gibson is on pace for a 171-pitch no-hitter.

Bert:  "Something, something, we didn't have pitch counts when I pitched"

You should have said something before Chief got the Solder out.

I made all the kids learn to drive a stick first. No wimpy automatics. The two girls got to the top of the hill in our local town, and could NOT get going after stopping for a stop sign. They ended up rolling back two blocks to the bottom of the hill and starting over. They said they called me every name they could think of! :)

To save time, get the sledge hammer out right away.

Well that's the first thing I did, I got rid of the error code.  Didn't take a sledge hammer though.  I just took a screwdriver to the light, and a few light taps on the screwdriver handle with a hammer, and voila!  No more error code.

Gibson's stuff is outstanding, and it looks like he's finally starting to realize that these Orioles aren't hitting him for beans. Might as well throw it over the plate. I'm not sure why, but Gibson's stuff is just filthy tonight. This is the good Gibson we have been waiting for.
