Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Alright Molly, first big decision of your postseason career made.... Erv is staying in the game.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 4 Ks in a row for the offense. We know how to take momentum and just vomit all over it
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Darn it, Mollys going to leave him inWe don't have anyone else. Maybe Berrios.
oldguywithanitch Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 20/20 hindsight. Buxton should have squeezed. kusko_andy, spinowner and Hosken Bombo Disco 3
NDagri Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Molitor has to leave Erv in the game. We cannot compete with the Yankees bullpen to bullpen. See if he has anything to start the 2nd. Jerr, Vanimal46, Danchat and 2 others 5

TWINSFANINATL Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 But are all the non-Gardenhire players/executives/ball persons/concessionaires now infected? Don't you have to do a clean sweep to make sure?Perhaps. But I'd start with Molitor. Obviously Santana was scared to death out there and pitched like it.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 (edited) I disagree. Put him out there for one, maybe two, batters. Let him catch his breath and see if the yips are gone. Yup. The game is on pace for 54 combined runs. One more baserunner is probably less of a setback than having to pull 8 inning of relief out of the bullpen's backside. bighat Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 I don't know what erv showed in the first inning that would make you think he should come back out. For me, it was taking a look at the Twins' bullpen that makes me think Erv should come back out.

big dog Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 All right, we held us scoreless! Now let's do the same to them. Jerr and glunn 2
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Perhaps. But I'd start with Molitor. Obviously Santana was scared to death out there and pitched like it.Or maybe he sat for half an hour between the time he warmed up and the time he pitched and couldn’t get a feel. Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Or maybe he sat for half an hour between the time he warmed up and the time he pitched and couldn’t get a feel.I would have hoped he went and threw in one of the indoor pens. I probably would have but I was just a bush leaguer glunn 1

jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Twins don't have as many pitching options as the Yanks. Molitor has to take a risk, let Irv go one more, maybe two. glunn, Danchat and Vanimal46 3

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Yes, but technically Jose is not the usual bullpen armPutting Jose into the second inning of a postseason tie game is a good way to see how many Yankees fans in the 18th row you can kill with a 103mph fastball. snap4birds 1
