Pelfrey is over 50 pitches. He's gotten 4 outs and given up 10 total bases.

 

I'm sure there is a reason why the Sox are keeping him around, but I can't imagine what it is.

I hate the way I'm falling in love with this team when I've been hurt so many times in the past

45+ years loving and following this team and falling in love with the game of baseball...this season is absolutely one of my most favorite seasons ever. Some of it is probably due to the number of poor seasons since we were winning and relevant. But it's more than that. This team loves to play ball. They believe in themselves. And the stage appears to be set for some exciting timed ahead!

Any of you have any heady information on Buxton?  I've watched the whole game and can't think of a time where he would have hurt himself...

Our run differential is coming back down! We're almost a .500 team according to Pythag. W-L!

In third order wins we're still in 4th place in the Central.  We can still catch Detroit with a big September.

To be fair to the run differential, there were a couple games where the boys got crushed... there haven't been too many games where they've put the beat down on the other team; like a 15-3 game or the likes.

Not sure why you waited. As slow as Pelfrey is, you could have run to the mart and back and Pelfrey would just be going into his windup....

They've said nothing in the Sox broadcast, just said Buxton gets a couple of innings off.
