I didn't think it was a bad idea by Adrianza. The Sox were having trouble getting a handle on the baseball, so, why not?

Adrianza hit a ball over the CFer's head, and was counting on all four infielders to mishandle the throw from the OF field, but only three did.

Adrianza hit one over the heads of the Sox outfielder, and on the relay throw back in, got away from the infielders and Adrianza decided to try for home.

Thus preventing the Little League HR. It was worth the shot at that point.

I still can't get the image of Garver taking the turn at second for his triple out of my mind. Like a lineman pressed into emergency duty on offense, running a post to the end zone. Chug chug chug.
