I will say that Perkins will face a maximum of 7 hitters. If he hasn't gotten 3 outs by then, he has to come out. Earlier if there are no outs.

Niko Goodrum is having a fine season at 25 in AAA but he's only putting up a .750 OPS. In AAA. He profiles as the utility man of the future but the Twins aren't hurting there. Adrianza's got a .710 OPS in the majors this year and is a much better fielder. No way I'm dumping Adrianza for him.

 

Offseason might be a different question. It's not sexy but the Twins will have interesting choices with Escobar and Adrianza (and of course this will be directly tied into Dozier).
