I am unclear on what we want pics of.

Socked in face? Loud out of town guy?

Really pretty disappointment?

Or just at the game?

And i feel obligued to point out, the two options are not mutually exclusive. There are many things of which we have pics that didn't happen.

Yes.

I'll be there tonight! Planning being a real loudmouth out of town guy. If I don't get socked in the face, I'll be pretty disappointed, really.

If you were going to a Raiders game getting socked would happen before you even entered the stadium. But A's fans, what few of them there are, well, I don't think you need to worry whether your health insurance is paid up.

BTW, I've been getting all my posts in early because I probably will lose consciousness for the night before the third inning. It's the curse of being a morning person.

I hear ya. I too am a morning person and I'm at my second concert in three days. I'm not used to staying up past midnight once let along twice in three days. At least tonight isn't a "school" night.

First world problems, right?

Fellow morning person here. Let's raise our coffee mugs and have a toast.

Funny thing is I'm on Mountain Time, so these West Coast games shouldn't hurt me too badly....but I work on East Coast Time. So I'm up at 5:30am every morning and zonking out by 9:30, even on weekends! On the plus side, it's great waking up at 6am on a Saturday and feeling like I've "slept in". I can get all the boring stuff and chores done by 9 and the rest of the weekend I'm playing with house money.

I get up at 3:45 every workday morning and go straight to jogging for 40 minutes.  Cool down, shower, then get dressed for work.  Leave at 5:20ish and in my office NLT 6:00.

Sleeping in on non-workdays is like 5:30-6:00 (but the jogging still happens right after I wake up).

In other words, another morning person right here.

Pshaw!

Not morning people. You just operate in a different time zone. Er... from your immeadiate vicinity.

My wife likes to sleep, so I get a ton of stuff done before she even gets out of bed. It's nice and quiet and I have nobody to interrupt me!

I went to a few A's/Twins games in the 1970s when I was in grad school. Even when Charlie Finley's A's were winning three straight World Series they didn't have any fans. Then free-agency hit and they essentially had a AAA team for a couple of years. Still didn't have any fans, but at least then there was a reason (and the Twins won a few times).

You people and your mornings.  Unless it involves travel or a tee time, I don't want to know what anything before 8am looks like.  Of course, it helps to have a job that I often don't have to be there until 10am at the earliest.

Hell, there are days I have already gotten 18 in by 8am!

Hmm ... there are certainly going to be some disappointed ... that we didn't sell or buy 'enough' or 'right' ... it's the way of it because we all enjoy the 'if I were GM, this is what I would do' discussion, and often have differing opinions ... and I mean that sincerely ... but ... some will be disappointed because that's the nature of it and there is no way to satisfy everyone ... so given that long-winded lead-up, my question/comment is this ... define 'fun.'

It may or may not be game show themed tomorrow!

Coffee and I don't get along very well. If I'm not drowsy there's no point. If I'm drowsy and drink coffee I wind up being drowsy with a knot in my stomach.

Unfortunately having a girlfriend takes up more time than I thought!

If you think that's a problem wait until you're married with three kids. I had no concept. I have no idea what happened to the last 25 years.

Rehab in Rochester. Homer and a single today

Damn. Could have used that up here. We needed to keep Granite's incredible baseball IQ in the lineup, I guess.
