amjgt Verified Member Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 I don't think the third base coach has came back from the All Star break yet...Is there a sign for "run at full speed" glunn 1
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Rosario was going at about 80% speed there. WtfHe seems to do a lot of that kind of stuff.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Khris Davis has the worst arm in the majors but at least he threw home unlike someone we know h2oface 1
amjgt Verified Member Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Whichever Davis is playing in left field I'm pretty sure had the worst arm in MLB history. He's got to be jealous of Revere

amjgt Verified Member Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Hahhahahaha. That strike 3 was 6" outside
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 (edited) I know strike 3 was a BS call, but Brian has developed into one of the least clutch hitters on the team. Yes I know he came through the other day, but still Edited July 29, 2017 by Aggies7
drock2190 Verified Member Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Dozier sure has been getting screwed at the plate lately
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Dozier screwed on that one. Once more.... time for tech to call balls and strikes. It affects every game played. Should be bases loaded. Instead .... side out. Not a game goes by that isn't compromised by the wrong calls behind the plate. Not a one. Hosken Bombo Disco and spinowner 2

Yes I know he came through the other day, but stillI don't think it's a good idea for our batters to be swinging at that pitch, even with 2 strikes. It shouldn't be called a strike, but whether it would be or not it's not an easy pitch to hit. h2oface, glunn, Blake and 1 other 4
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 He's batting .284 with RISP. So not reallyThat's very surprising and I'll gladly eat my hat. Seems he's up with guys on base very often and fails to drive in runs. glunn 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Someone must have told garcia that he is indeed a member of the twins staff and we simply cannot be having 1-2-3 innings like he did in the first
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 (edited) And they all go against the Twins. Really? Not what I see. I know you are trying to minimalize what I said, but I don't like any of the wrong calls, even when they go in my teams favor. I hate them all. I don't like the "they all even out" acceptance. Because they don't. They all change every game and produce a different result than what a good eye or pitch earned. They are all cheating the game. Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Houdini act by Garcia. A's being twins like there
sftwinsfan Verified Member Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 I didn't see him getting out of that inning without any damage, nice surprise.

And there is no evidence to back your statement. None at all, because one will never know how the games would have turned out if they were called correctly. It is going to happen. And it will improve the game to have a true strike zone, like the game was designed to have. Edited July 29, 2017 by h2oface Hosken Bombo Disco 1

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Yep the game of baseball has been screwed up for 150 years. Yup. Should have never moved on from black and white TV. I get it.

None at all, Because one will never know how the games would have turned out if they were called correctly. It is going to happen. And it will improve the game to have a true strike zone, like the game was designed to have. The thing is that, if you watch all the games, you know the twins have gotten plenty of ball/strike calls in their favor as well as ones that didn't go in their favor. There's no evidence to show that one team is jobbed any more than another on balls/strikes. The other things, like dogging it around the bases or throwing it to first when the tying run is scoring are the REAL things that change a game. Dozier's Glorious Hair 1

It doesn't change that players with a good eye at the plate or the perfect pitch have to be screwed forever. They earned the right call. We only had umpires guessing because we had no other instantaneous option that was better. We do now. Edited July 29, 2017 by h2oface
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Can the A's just move already? Nothing against their fans, but it doesn't seem like anyone cares, their stadium is a morgue and they've been talking about g-easy for an entire inning
