Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Author Posted June 21, 2017 He wasn't deriding velocity. Merely deriding not being able to locate velocity. Which Busenitz is not doing. Blake and LaBombo 2

Ron Burgundy 4 President Verified Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 I think it's fair to assume the Twins are done answering back. The Sux will keep chipping away though.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 (edited) He wasn't deriding velocity. Merely deriding not being able to locate velocity. Which Busenitz is not doing. The Twins have an abundance of 89 MPH pitchers who can effortlessly locate their fastball to any section of the outfield seats. yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 This Game Is Taking For EverI'm not sure they still do this, but I remember years ago a story about the Japanese league. If a televised game went past it's allotted time, the broadcast was over. The league made sure that didn't happen very often. That's what it will take for things to really change here. The broadcasters will have to demand change. Riverbrian 1

It was hustle in, hustle out, 8 warm-up pitches and play ball. Riverbrian 1
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 It would appear that no matter how good the catchers, it kind of matters that the pitchers are just awful. But, hey, they dumpster dived again today, so that's great.

yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 I guess I never noticed before how far Rosario is from the plate. That would leave him vulnerable to pitches on the outside edge.
