Jax Provisional Member Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 I sell antiques in a shop in Stillwater. Jessica Lange visited often and Sam Shepard also. Nice people. But it only takes a few to ruin things. They just wouldn't leave Jessica alone. Someone flattened all her tires one time, and folks would go up to their door. Didn't take long and they moved.Jessica Lange was a nice looking lady back in the day.
Jax Provisional Member Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 I do not use them a lot but could anyone tell me how to post emojis or whatever they are called.

Dave The Dastardly Verified Member Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Lol ... I collect refrigerator magnets ... I've travelled quite a bit over the years and those are the only souvenirs I purchase for myself. I have been known to buy myself a more extravagent gift, but that really has little to do with being a souvenir and more to do with buying myself an occasional nice gift, like these Reuge music boxes from Switzerland.IMG_0286.JPGIMG_0285.JPGAnd these Japanese woodblock prints:IMG_0287.JPGForgive my ignorance, but did you mean Reggae music boxes? Although I suppose the Swiss are more into horns than oil drums... Seriously, very nice! Beats my shot glass collection. Riverbrian 1

The last time I was in Switzerland, I was very close to the Reuge factory ... sigh ... it just didn't quite work out to figure out how to get there for a drooling visit. But one day, perhaps ... Teflon Verified Member Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 I believe we MInnesotans should not indulge the fancy affectations of the west-coast types and should thus refer to the Mariners by the perfectly fine pronounciation "Mah-REEN-ers" when referencing their team instead of the overly-grandiose "MARE-uh-ners." Blake Verified Member Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Not to change the subject of home improvements (haha) but I think to stay in the division race we need to add one reliable reliever for sure possibly two. So far the division appears to be fairly weak I think 86 to 88 games might win it.Home improvement, bullpen improvement...both cost lots of money and require some innovation. I'm not sure you're really changing the subject. Jax, Mike Sixel, Dave The Dastardly and 2 others 5
