Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Robbie Grossman with his best Delmon Young impression out in left field. But he caught it.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 I'm watching the CLE broadcast. If their pitchtrack thing is to be believed, the curve to Brantley was outside.Okay. I'll take the word of a fellow old-timer.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Nice. Also, does anyone blame me for immediately assuming that that was snark? It WAS snark.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 I guess that wild pitch hard inside fastball that Castro wasn't ready for sort of supports the point that Berrios isn't hitting his spots often enough. On the other hand, every pitcher misses bad like that now and then.
akmanak Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Good AB by Grossman, calling a double by Mauer to score him.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Not sure what irritates me most about Clevinger...his ridiculous hair, giant wad of tobacco, herky jerky mound movements, or his socks

On the other hand, he's got good stuff, and he's given up few base runners and only 1 run.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Yes.His hair should come off with his hat

Blake Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 His hair should come off with his hatThat made me laugh.
DrNeau Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 It worked, but name one other team's cleanup hitter who bunts there.
bighat Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Mauer being wily in the batter's box and on the basepaths! Love it!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 What's wrong with his socks?I was going to bash him for not having solid pink socks, but I see Lindor also has the weird tie dye socks. Figured he was being unique. Don't worry, I wasn't complaining about the pink gear.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 It worked, but name one other team's cleanup hitter who bunts there.Given it was a bunt for a hit, I don't actually mind it. He was going to beat it out even if the throw is on the money.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2017 Author Posted May 13, 2017 Also, Van...forgive me if I'm misinterpreting, but in reading your intro it seems like you're subtly implying that roller disco has somehow...gone out of style. No longer the hot new thing all us kids are into. Bell bottoms n platform shoes aren't the rage.Am I reading you correctly??They are becoming the rage again! Austin has a roller disco rink and it's a ton of fun! Only thing that's missing is bell bottom jeans....

Thought maybe you had a thing about the short pants vs long pants
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2017 Author Posted May 13, 2017 The splits? Who's taking me to the hospital afterwards?Come on North! You can stil boogie down and do the splits easy!
70charger Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Who says you have to hit it out of the infield to rack up those crooked numbers?
Blake Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Who is this team? The Twins are really pushing Cleveland every single way they can.
