DrNeau Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Swing the bat, Sano. Took a few decent cuts but then fooled.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Yes, do keep up, would you?Would I? No. Obviously.
hybridbear Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 DanSan is a defensive upgrade over Grossman in RF lol
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 At least Buxton is getting fastballs now. Some of those were what Swarzak considers his breaking pitches.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 No Pressly? DanSan gets RF?
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 DanSan is a defensive upgrade over Grossman in RF lol1-0 game, they might regret taking one of there better offensive players out of the game.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Give it up, Dick. This is still a terrible rotation. Santana is not going to end the season with an ERA under 1; Santiago is not going to end the ERA with his current ERA. And you are now touting Mejia?
Jerr Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 YesAnd posting it on a game thread? I don't care if , it is Twins related......
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Scoring 1 run is generally not a winning strategy
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Good play by DanSan or should he have tried to catch it?
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Gotta hand it to Dantana on that one.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Buxton throws as well as he hits.
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Good play by DanSan or should he have tried to catch it?You don't want Dantana gettIng overly ambitious out there.
GP830 Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 That Buxton throw was...pretty bad?
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Revere didn't get a very good throw off from CF on that play to home.
hybridbear Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Poor throw there, Bux. I agree. A good throw would've had the runner out at home. He didn't take the right route to the ball to set up his body in position to make a strong throw.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Just say you prefer to be standing.Right now i think i'll sit. And catch up fhe game thread. Been standing most of the afternoon.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Buxton throws as well as he hits.If that were the case he would have launched it to minnetonka
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Sano saves the bacon. Now we need a run.
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 1-0 game, they might regret taking one of there better offensive players out of the game.I actually take that back. DanSan made a play Grossman was unlikely to make.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Why the hell was Belisle allowed to continue to pitch after the single to the wall? Can Kintzler not get 5 outs? He had Abreu 0-2 and messed around with him and he's caused this. And Hicks 2.0 is starting to get on my last nerve with a garbage throw like that. At least he's decent running down balls but after that throw, tough to really say what he's bringing to this team at the moment.
snepp Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 That Buxton throw was...pretty bad? That's a positive way to describe it.
nytwinsfan Provisional Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Just horrendous bullpen management by Molitor. Belisle shouldn't be in to pitch to the heart of the lineup in a 1-0 game. Why not Duffey or Kintzler? And he certainly should have been pulled once it was first and third with only one out.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 At least Swarzak won't be the Winning Pitcher.
