Sano to have MRI on elbow on Monday

According to multiple reports from Target Field today, Miguel Sano will have an MRI on his elbow on Monday. He says it has been sore for a week, so they are checking it out, though he doesn't think it's serious. 

 

He has played 3B just twice since the beginning of August.

What works for Sano?  DH.  His bat is his tool - his fielding is not going to make him a star.

Plouffe and Polanco at 3B, Vargas and Mauer alternate at first and Sano at DH - that makes sense.

that's a myth.

 

What happens is that pitchers are hurt before they realize it, so they are losing velocity before they get the surgery. Then, when they return, they regain some of the lost velocity. If it actually made you stronger/better, then more guys would have it to increase their ability.

Yeah this team has too many examples of stating a player's injury is minor right away, then all of a sudden they're out for the season.
