jud6312 Verified Member Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Um, we do? Who has he brought back? And don't say Bartlet or Kubel because I'm not convinced that was his choice. The Jasons were placed on the roster while he was "running the team." He takes the blame.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 They already announced he is on the 25. In Twins World soft tossing lefties are highly regarded! Ha! Only this team wants to add lead weights to a sinking ship.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Um, how? Wasn't he selected before we picked?Appel was the consensus #1 pick in that draft. For whatever reason (signing bonus issues IIRC) he fell and they took Correa instead.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 12, 2016 Author Posted August 12, 2016 My bottle of water, my tv, my tobacco, my air conditioning and a lovely scented candle that smells like pine treesOkay, I'll give you those, except for the tobacco. If you had said a different substance I would have given you 5 for 5. As for the scented candle, go online, find the website for Thymes, Ltd., and order their Frazier fir scented candle. It's the best. Like having a fresh Christmas tree in the house!
gil4 Verified Member Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 They just announced that since Albers is already here, he's taking Buddy's spot on the 25. :shoot: They didn't have the one I wanted, so these will have to do.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Well, this sucks. Let's see if NFL preseason football is more interesting...

Their hand soap is equally as awesome and equally as insanely priced.

For whatever reason (signing bonus issues IIRC) he fell and they took Correa instead.I'm still confused. It wasn't as if we passed on Correa, did we? If we had passed on him, yeah, then I'd be wondering 'If only' for a long time, but he was never ours to choose.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Well, this sucks. Let's see if NFL preseason football is more interesting...I thought that Vikings were playing tonight, but nope.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 12, 2016 Author Posted August 12, 2016 Yeah I figured the dipping tobacco wouldn't rate high on anyone's list of favorite thingsYou want a woman to like kissing you on a regular basis, get rid of the tobacco. Nasty gross.

gil4 Verified Member Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 He will. Heart-warming story and we all know that Antony loves bringing guys back. Back for 24 hours was heart-warming. More than that is less so.

jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 And now, in contrast to the soft-tossing lefty finesse pitcher Tommy Milone, we bring you... The soft-tossing lefty finesse pitcher Andrew Albers. This is sure to confuse the Astros, who can't be sure what's the difference. Did one of them have a beard??
jud6312 Verified Member Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Most deserving of the call-up for sure.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 12, 2016 Author Posted August 12, 2016 Look, lady, can you PLEASE stop harshing my mellow with your constant need to bring up reality? Oh go burn a pine scented candle. And crap ... I'm not sure I can keep watching this brutality amid my reality.

ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 I suppose, but You'll never get away with it when he's right there in the middle of a major league park. There are literally dozens of potential witnesses in the stands.I would nominate for post of the night but there aren't enough posts to qualify.

Maybe there's a 50% chance in that alternate reality we take him instead of Buxton.
