Whatever happened to Sam Deduno? He was better than these guys.

He was actually released from his minor league deal with the O's yesterday.

So, let's suppose the Twins DFA both Milone and Albers. Who'd be your choice to bring up?

I think I'd go with Wheeler and Dean.

Dean and Logan. Wheeler tries too hard to make batters miss the ball.

On a more serious note. I did not know that Wonder Woman bats left handed.

She's actually a righty.

She just bats left handed against Albers to sorta make it fairer.

If his agent isn't on the phone with Antony right now, Sammy needs a new agent.

Right, I do. I mean, she does.

Joe Nathan is available, right?

Hopefully the Twins can book a couple of plane tickets. Looks like we could see Pat Light. Maybe time to give Ryan O'Rourke one more look.

I'm sure Sean Burnett would like one last chance to see if he can do it.

Of all the times for Logan Darnell to go down injured again!

Isn't Nathan on the Cubs? He was a couple weeks ago...

One thing these soft-tossing lefties remind me of is how good Greg Maddux was. Maddux threw no harder than Milone, yet he won game after game and posted ERA's in the 2's. It's not just velocity, it's precision and cleverness.

Not when I'm in town.

Um, no. She's not Batman.

Without trying to troll! I was thinking this afternoon, we are now in year 7 or so of ineptitude. And so far we have our stud CF in Rochester, our young ace getting hammered, and our third baseman possibly without a position except DH. While there is still plenty time, I pondered, what if they all don't make it? What then? Wouldn't that be some kind of cruel bizarre joke!

Um, this was a 4-game series and we won on Monday. But as Aggies pointed out, we will be swept in the DH, if we don't come back and win this. It ain't over ... yet.

Well apparently I forgot Monday happened.

Aunts and uncles all over the place in those ponderings.

It's easy to do when today just kind of blew it out of most of our minds.

We're going to have to work on our silver linings here...

Great opportunities for AAA pitchers... um, and, uh...

Good to see Escobar can pitch...

I saw Maddux quoted once where he said he throws about 85 of his pitches every game exactly where he wants to, that made it tough to hit!
