Guideline number 4 in Chief's recommendations for game threads is: We like positivity. However, what is foremost in my mind today is the needless killings of innocent people that have taken place in these two two-city metropolitan areas during recent days and I think it would be totally remiss on my part to disregard that. While baseball, and entertainment in general, has an important place in our lives I'll suggest that we try to maintain a proper perspective and remember those most directly affected by these events.

 

 

 

That said, here's hoping that our favorite team's good play of the last week can continue tonight. Go Twins!

We never buy actual peaches. 

 

Canned peaches... All the time. 

 

A guy at work brought in a box of peaches and told everyone to take as many as they wanted. 

 

I grabbed 4

 

Just had one

 

Next time I'm gonna wait for the guy to bring in a box of the sugary syrup.

Yes, this does not look good - possible serious injury.  That being said - that ball could have been caught without him jumping.   Easy for me to say from my couch.

I hate to say it, but I'm really starting to feel like it might be in our best interest to be shopping Buxton this offseason, at the very least to see what sort of return we could get.
