USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Buxton would've been back in the dugoutftfy. //that, right there, works TWO ways, eh?//
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 The Marlins logo/uniform is obscene.I'm more offended that they have two rings in 20 years and nobody gives a turkey about them in miami
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 another of my absolute favorites! Show Dick some respect!I expected more from a letterman!
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Does it look to anybody else like Oswaldo Arcia is gradually getting better at the plate? He seems to be seeing the ball better, his balance seems better... This is not a good time to trade him. If this guy ever really gets hot, it could be quite a thing to see.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 It was my dad's as well. Which, I guess, makes sense :-)If you had said your great grandpa, yeah.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 It was my dad's as well. Which, I guess, makes sense :-)I'da went with "grampa," but this wasn't bad.
Darius Verified Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I had two tickets to the Twins game on the passenger seat of my car. I come out of the store, my window is shattered. Four Twins tickets on the seat now. True story.I see you listen the progrum.
jimmer Verified Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I'da went with "grampa," but this wasn't bad.after last night, I thought I'd take it easy. I hate papercuts with lemon juice.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I'da went with "grampa," but this wasn't bad.I think I got it right.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Of all the Dickbert-isms, "THREE and oh" is my absolute favorite.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 For the love of god it's only the 6th inning
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Meh, why would they take advantage of a little league error?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 For the love of god it's only the 6th inningWhat does love or God have to do with that?
tobi0040 Verified Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Turns out Buxton and Kepler are seeing better left handed pitching in big leagues
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Buxton would've been on third, ... stolen home without a sign, and won a footrace with the Uber carrying his bags to the airport for the flight to Rochester.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 What does love or God have to do with that? When I worked for a minor league team, that was a common saying, among other things, to complain about the pace of play. 2 hours and 10 minutes should get ya more the 6 full
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Wow, Nunez ... where did he come from?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 For the love of god it's only the 6th inning"OK, Paul, see, we ain't sellin' a lot 'o tickets, see. And I don't see anyways to change that any time soon, see. So I'm thinking...'how ELSE do we sell more nine dollar beers?' and I'm thinking...if they're forced to STAY there longer..."
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Wow, Nunez ... where did he come from? The Yankees
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 When I worked for a minor league team, that was a common saying, among other things, to complain about the pace of play. 2 hours and 10 minutes should get ya more the 6 fullShould, but it doesn't always. So, go with it and smell some roses, or tulips if you prefer.
tobi0040 Verified Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I see you listen the progrum. I am offended you would suggest that. I don't. I don't know what that is I will ask my neighbor if he listens
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 The YankeesI know. I was being rhetorical.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I know. I was being rhetorical.I know, I was being sarcastic
Blake Verified Member Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Thought: Move Tonkin, Pressley and May into the starting rotation and move the starters, Nolasco, Hughes and Dean into the bullpen. Might as well, as they're going to wind up pitching anyway.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 "OK, Paul, see, we ain't sellin' a lot 'o tickets, see. And I don't see anyways to change that any time soon, see. Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I know, I was being sarcastic I know. I was playing it straight to deflect your sarcasm.
