Let me see, the Twins are now 18-40. So, if the Twins can go (lessee, subtract 58 from 162, carry the 0, divide by i and multiply by 6,000)  72-32 the rest of the season, they probably make the playoffs.

 

On another note, the White Sox are getting pounded. They're about to drop below .500.

A friend of mine used to keep Far Side calendars like that on his coffee table.  When he'd bring dates over, he'd leave to go fix them something and hoping they'd look at the calendar and read it.  If they laughed, he'd say they were worth keeping around for awhile.  If they didn't, or had blank looks on their faces, that would be the last date.

He had Abad warming up when the Marlin got on in the 9th, so I'm guessing it's closer by 9-man committee at this point.
