Can we please call Ichiro Suzuki by his last name? Like we do for every other visiting player?

 

In Japanese, the family name comes first. Ichiro is what we say is his "last name" and Ichiro Suzuki is like Smith Joe. Suzuki Ichiro would be like Joe Smith.
