Terrible news in the Chief family.  My best friend from high school passed away.  We played ball together, and made a point to get together and see a game at least a couple times a year.  If anything, he loved baseball more than me.

 

He visited me in my dreams last night, and I figured it was to say a final goodbye.  Nope, he was all pumped up.  "Chief...they have baseball in heaven!" he said.  "And it's just like you're 18 again!"

 

"There is a bit of bad news, though, old friend." he continued.  "We have a game tomorrow afternoon, and you're leading off and playing second base."
