Ok,  now you're just bragging! Although I'd give the Geek salad some further thought, I don't think it goes with the Salmon.

It's Greek if I can find some feta.  Geek if I can't.

Hughes made some pitches that inning, but had some hard luck on that ground ball.  And geez, how many times does a P break bats and still give up hits?  (A non-Twins pitcher, that is).

Fwiw: I have family at the game and they said Hughes was PISSED when Molly took him out.

I didn't see it, was watching that awesome NBA game, but I can't blame them for pulling him after he gave up 9 hits in 4 2/3....

He WAS pissed? or He pissed?

Big difference, I think the latter is more likely.

Now he knows how we all felt when he asked out of a 1 run game in the 7th

Dick: "Popped up, center field."

Yeah, popup to 10 feet in front of the warning track.

Heh... reminded me of the bad old days of the mid-70s, when poor ol' Craig Kusick had all that pressure to be the next Killebrew.

Ralph Jon Fritz, or Lynn Faris maybe, would marvel at his prodigious pop-ups.  ("...and it's popped up.  Oh, this one's a MILE high!")

We were perturbed, is what I was getting at.

Just checking in. It's nice to see some Mauer Power. It's almost as if Nunez and Mauer are having a HRs run, as they're both tied at 5.

It's just too bad Hughes is still terrible and the Twins are too stubborn to put him on the DL.

Well, I am just pleased as punch today.  Twice, we got through innings while preserving a lead.  But then, of course....

What th'....  he gave up a dinger to whom?  Some guy named what??

Rogers tries to throw the little known "whirly curve" circus pitch, the curve ball that goes behind the left handed batter and breaks sharply at the last moment into the strike zone.

Alas, the curve ball merely hits the batter in the shoulder.

Okay, now I see why they're starting Dean but keeping Rogers in the pen. Dean has better composure and command. Rogers needs to get his emotions under control.

Good play by Danny Santana. Really had to get his feet right before that throw.

Among other body parts, that all seemed to be going in their own independent directions!

He got 'er done, tho...!
