ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Funny Penguin, right on!
rghrbek Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Methinks pinch hitting for a twins catcher is not something to avoid
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Yes! We can hit homers with runners on!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Real Ugly Game Real Beautiful 8th inning
Guest Guests Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 The Twins are pinch-hitting? I thought that went against Molitor's beliefs!Riverboat Paul strikes again!
Dozier's Glorious Hair Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Hopefully that will get Eddie going.
tobi0040 Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Eddie, Eddie, Eddie. On a side note, I don't know why MLB.com says "in play, runs" or "in play, outs". Is that any easier or quicker to publish than "HR to left field" or "Ground out to 2B". I mean the system should know who is hitting and prefill that in
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Slash by Buxton to RF corner. game winning inside-park HR !!
wavedog Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 A pinch-hit Home Run - how wonderful is that - way to go Eddie!
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 well, RF anyway.......Would have been a home run in wiffle ball.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 If we could get a homerun with some one base that'd be awesome...wish, granted
KidBro Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Anyone else see that guy in section 234 go ass over tailfeathers? Well, he got a souvenir, it looks like. I didn't, but you paint a pretty (funny) picture.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Strategy time. Zuke comes in, but do you waste Rosario?
PopRiveter Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Turned down the radio for 5 minutes to take a work call and missed all the fun. insert expletive here
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Dang, problem with Fox Sports Go. It seems if you have to reload after the game is scheduled to be over, you can't watch the rest. My only option to watch right now is the Postgame show, which of course is not yet on. Clicking that one doesn't load the game back up. Dang about my silly watchability issues, not the tie game of course.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Pitchers have finally figured out Dozier, they all put their pitches low and outside and he rarely makes hard contact now, I'd say a pretty poor year for him in 2016. I mean, I liked this, but I don't really like this...
70charger Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 "And now a high fly in right..." <gasp> <whew>
rghrbek Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 We have no back up catcher on the bench...Gardy regrets accepting new job.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 10 home runs for Twins. All solo shots. Please talk more about how the Twins only hit solo home runs. It seems to work well!
70charger Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Turned down the radio for 5 minutes to take a work call and missed all the fun. insert expletive here Sure! How about ****?
70charger Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Sure! How about ****? Would also work for this situation.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 That's the right call--error on Buxton.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Dammit Proven Closer! This is why he should only pitch in save situations!
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 That Buxton error might end up hurting...
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 The modestThe lowThe miniscule The microscopic probability of May ever getting another start in a Twins uniform has effectively reached zero with the ineffectiveness/injury of Perkins and now the apparent implosion of Jep.
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Now would be a good time for a Sano Storm
