Hey, they only hit one ball hard. The thing about Pelfrey is not that he doesn't strike out guys, but he doesn't finish them off. Batters don't chase and they foul off a lot of pitches.

Can we warm up a reliever right now?

Unnecessary. With bases loaded and two outs, Pelfrey relieved himself on the mound.

Ugh ... no thank you ... I had a math teacher who worked hot summers in the Hormel factory in Austin, MN (was it Hormel?) ... anyway ... GROSS!!! Really turned me off pork ... and that's all I'll say ...

Hey, I went to a SPAM jamboree in Austin MN one year, bought a SPAM t-shirt that I totally wore out. Never liked SPAM, but the t-shirt was a classic. Never knew there were so many flavors of SPAM, either. Maple SPAM...!

That wasn't on my list of things to warm up

Not based on on-field success, but some of these combinations sound worth a try:

 

Bertolli Chicken Nolasco & Farfelle

Paul Newman Grilled Chicken Teriyaki with Chih-Wei Hu Noodles.
