I remember when that first happened ... I saw the headlines and almost dropped dead of heart failure. I was thinking, No, not our Flash ... it just can't be our Flash.

Just one, but the light bulb has to really commit to the change.

You know, when my brothers are acting up, my mentality is if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Yeah ... I'm real popular with my parents when I'm babysitting ... but I'm also really popular with the boys. Take your pick.

 

Anyway, I guess I'll just have to adopt that mentality for the game threads.

Hrb says that when he's older he's going to buy himself a plot in a graveyard and bring flowers to it on occasion. I thought that was so sweet of him. People like to be remembered when they die, but they never set an example.

Two actually.  One to screw it in, and one to observe how the bulb itself symbolizes a single incandescent beacon of subjective reality in a netherworld of endless absurdity reaching out toward a maudlin cosmos of nothingness.

Hey, Ricky had a lot of bend on his benders tonight. Wonder if he'll go back out next inning. Very SSS but it's a lot better than having the outfield running down boomers. If he can give us a few innings like that during the last four games it would be very welcome.
