stringer bell Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 I've said it before and I'll say it again, give me Rosario's throwing over Hicks. Rosario charges better and throws quickly and accurately. Hicks has a cannon, but he's not as quick getting there and releasing the ball quickly. I'm not sold on the accuracy either.
ashbury Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Hicks has a strong arm. It flies past the target really quickFirst error of the year, but yeah, he really air-mailed that one.
ashbury Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 No Matter if we are in it or not. I've decided to watch the Twins Game and Game Thread inebriated. Just to see if my posts get better. F u cn rd ths, itn tyg h myxbl cd.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 I say out. And North says Oot Let's call the whole thing off
amjgt Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 First error of the year, but yeah, he really air-mailed that one.I don't quite understand why that's an error. I thought he was on his way to 2nd and even if the throw was on target, there would have been a "advanced to 2nd on throw"
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 I hate replay. If he is ruled safe I'll hate it with you. If he is ruled out... I'm gonna give it a kiss.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 I can't wait to hear Dick's crying.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 The replay judges are having a beer while they decide...
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Get him out of the game please.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 poop. crap. yuck. ish.
Linus Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Is there anybody up? This is the f!#/ING game here maybe the season
David HK Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Well, at least we kinda know which Pelf we get tonight. Mystery solved.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 My guess is they were looking for an angle that clearly showed if Pelfrey's foot was on the bag. If it was, he was out. If not, obviously safe.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Molitor? Bueller?? What else...
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 If he is ruled safe I'll hate it with you. If he is ruled out... I'm gonna give it a kiss. They could give every call for the history of the game in the Twins favor and I would still hate it. If they want to get rid of the human element of the game they should just replay each pitch where either the hitter or the pitcher messes up.
ashbury Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 And North says Oot Let's call the whole thing offIncrease the bourbon level, it's not working.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Not sure why Pelfrey was still in the game to give up those last two runs.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Escobar has no range. Pelfrey sucks. The umps in Secausus NJ suck. We're lying on Barry ZITO to defeat the Angels! What's left? A comeback, I suppose, will do.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Pelf should have been out after the challenged play. That was ample time for someone to get warm.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Well the bright spot is that is probably the last time we see Pelfrey.
David HK Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Well, it's 8.38 AM, and a holiday over here. Off for a workout- gotta burn off some Pelf-induced emotional trauma.
ashbury Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 I don't quite understand why that's an error. I thought he was on his way to 2nd and even if the throw was on target, there would have been a "advanced to 2nd on throw"I think the idea is the cutoff man would have judged to, indeed, cut the throw off. If he'd been give a chance by Hicks.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Yeah...sorta felt a SS with range gets the first line drive off Pelf, and perhaps the GB by Santana. Not sure why they're not shifted too, especially on Santana. Let's go offense.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Season on the line and we turn to Pelfrey and Graham. Gotta love that extra wild card!
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Have we not all seen this bad movie before? The one where the the guy wants to go look see what's that noise in the basement, and everybody's yelling, "Nooo, the killer's down there," and he goes down there anyway, and he gets killed, and we all could see that was going to happen. At what point does Molitor not see that this was going to happen? I was typing this even as Pelfrey was giving up the 4th run, and I had no doubt about it. You've got to recognize the avalanche of crap before it gathers steam, so you can step out of the way and congratulate yourself on your cleverness.
Linus Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Ok I like molly but the I'm going g to play Dave w. He can't treat this like game 121. He has to have somebody up as soon as Pelfrey starts flailing g and wandering around. Talk about a dollar short
GCTF Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 poop. crap. yuck. ish. What is Mike Pelfrey?
