  1. Escobar should lead off with Buxton second just to get them some more at bats if nothing else.
  2. This just is not fun...
  3. So maybe Escobar should be the leadoff hitter, and move Dozier down to the two hole. Anything to give Dozier a change, as it looks like he is just pressing too hard right now.
  4. Joe has looked solid these first few games, hitting the ball hard for the most part. Maybe now that he can see the ball, he can turn it around.
  5. This will be my first game thread of the year, and I want to point out that when I participated last year, we were well over 500, so I am confident that things will turn around tonight.
  6. Molitor needs to realize that Pelf does not have it tonight. Take him out soon or this could get ugly quick.
  7. That catch by Hicks saved a run that Torii wouldn't have saved. No chance that Hunter catches that. I love watching this young outfield play.
  8. This ump is squeezing Duff right now. There were a bunch of pitches that the home team usually gets for strikes (esp to Gose), but not so far tonight.
  9. Now that's Twins Baseball!!!
  10. This game is over. It was a fun 20 minutes. When you get your first 2 men on base and then your 23 million dollar man strikes out followed up by the most predictable double play ever its a bad start. 6 pitches later the bases are loaded and everyone's spirits are down. 9-1 KC win. HR by Escobar for our only run.
  11. The past couple games he has been hitting the ball hard but right at people. He is on the right track now, and his glove is top 5 material in the majors.
  12. Sano needs to take a day or 2 off and Molitor needs to recognize this. He is obviously in pain, and now it is hurting the team. He will be fine in the long run, but just needs time to heal.
  13. Absolutely. I think they listened to me.
  14. So far, every right handed hitter has seen a first pitch fastball over the outside corner. Hunter is the only one to swing at it, and the only one with a hit. Let's start going the other way and hitting the ball hard to the right side.
  15. This feels like one of those games that we have no chance. I don't mean to be a naysayer after 1/2 an inning, but I don't think we will score more than 1 or 2 against their pitcher.
