Game Thread: Twins @ Rays, 8/26, 6:10pm

[David HK]

Well, tack on another TD here, with the extra point, and maybe bring Boyer out for the 9th, too.

[twinsnorth49]

Delmon Young is back in Tampa? And he's white now?

[GCTF]

Would be nice to tack on a few more here, send Boyer back out for the ninth, making him unavailable for several days.

[Squirrel]

Cmon Sanooooooooooo!

[Jham]

If only the twins had won one stinking game in NY.

I guess every team can say that at this point though.

Saving that one stinking game for October.

[LaBombo]

Boyer comes out for the 9th, I am heading for a very high bridge

Make sure there's not a manhole directly below...

Boyer was waaay overused earlier this season (I get there is a joke or 2 there).  Maybe he can be fresh and useful again down the stretch after 2 weeks off.

Too bad he didn't get 2 weeks off earlier, say... every 2 weeks or so.

Am I the only one not worried about Sano's K rate?

[TwinsCD]

Interesting that Perkins is not going to be the 9th inning pitcher.

[David HK]

What's with the tables and chairs down 3B way?  Is there a Hooter's out there?  Strangely ill-attended if so...

[Squirrel]

Geeeeeeeez ...

Who do we see now? May? Jepsen?

[twinsnorth49]

Who's worried.......other than Dick?

[ScrapTheNickname]

Where's that plate discipline image when I need it?

Really? He's not ABW.

It's like a minor league game when all the camps and kiddies leave. Just the season ticket holders left.

[LaBombo]

Crunch time for Jep.   Two lefties up first.

[DaveW]

Is Blaine Boyer really back to pitching well? My eyeballs saw a pretty dominant performance, after the first guy.

to be fair, Tampa offense is poor

[DaveW]

Am I the only one not worried about Sano's K rate?

I'm not. He isn't striking out on bad pitches he will continue to improve

Again, the Rays' announcers don't seem at all concerned that Jepsen was a Ray a few weeks ago. Like: What's the story!
