I very much wanted to like Punto the ballplayer as much as I liked Punto the story, but in the end it was like trying to appreciate Rudy if he had won a starting role just by constantly rubbing dirt on his uniform and bloodying his own nose.

In a completely great way, Escobar is making Ryan and Molitor look like idiots for doggedly sticking with Santana for so long.

I concur, Dr.  I posted a couple of games ago, how the Twinks would be looking if we hadn't had stiffs like Boyer and Thompson pitching so often.  And same thing here.  How would the Twinks look now if Molly had stuck with Esco the whole way this year?  FFS.  Why is it we're so much smarter on TD than in the dugout or the FO on this?  I guess they're just dumberer.
