Bobby Korecky now pitching and Hicks gets a single.  Hard to believe Bobby's still playing.  I remember one spring training he wasn't very good and just didn't look like he belonged.  So I told him "Bobby, we'll see you in Minnesota this year:".  He looked startled and said "Who, Me?"  LOL, sure enough he did make it up.

The homer from Hicks is really nice. Really nice. Slugging Hicks is a viable Hicks for the Twins.

Of a lefty, correct?      No factor one way or the other on his suitability for promotion.     He needs to hit at least .280 from the left side to consider promotion if the plan is for him to own centerfield.     Right handed stats should not be considered much except as more evidence supporting platooning him with the Twins..

Schafer!!! Take charge!  He wasn't even watching the ball.  He was worried about the infielders.

.280 on his weak side is overboard.  If he hits 230-240 from left side and 280 from right like last year his OBP will be .380-.400.  That is good enough.  Waaay better than what is up here.
