jorgenswest Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Hicks batting lead off walked and scored. Pinto has thrown out a runner and made a nice play on a bunt. Peterson has 3 RBIs. Pinto walked and scored on Brock's HR Meyer gave up a run in the third. Ball off the glove of Diaz allowed run to score.45 pitches through 3 innings
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Since we are talking puppies, this is the one we adopted a week and half ago. You can keep her as a good luck charm, though she's getting fixed next month.
Whammy Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Rochester going up against Andrew Albers today. Not for much longer at this pace
woolywoolhouse Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Isn't there a two-hour rule, kind of like with the professor in college? After two hours let's just go home; we'll make it up some other day?
Whammy Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 This is way more fun than a Twins game
jorgenswest Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 The Twins have plenty of guys that can hit lefties. No need for Hicks.

Whammy Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 OK... how did Rosario get doubled up on a foul ball pop up to 1B?
Kirby_waved_at_me Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 I'd love it if the Twins could avoid a series sweep and steal one today, but if a postponement means they avoid playing Herrmann today AND they get to start Hughes on Monday by pushing the whole rotation up a day... hey, that would be ok too.

Our luck they will push back Pelfrey and we get to see him on Monday

Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Brock Peterson is having a great game, maybe he could be this year's Colabello.
jorgenswest Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 OK... how did Rosario get doubled up on a foul ball pop up to 1B?It wasn't a big pop up. He was stealing and it was a soft fly near 1B. It could have a hit and run but he had no chance.
jorgenswest Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Meyer has walked 5. Hit 101 on the gun. Buffalo can't hit him. They just wait out the walks. Major leaguers would put the ball in play in some of those at bats before the walk occurs.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 If my roommate dies do the Twins make the playoffs? If your roommate dies because he was killed by a rabid TC bear then I think you also get free play-off tickets. You get to watch from the dug-out if it happens on TV and is somehow is tied into a bizarre kiss-cam tragedy.
Shane Wahl Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 The homer from Hicks is really nice. Really nice. Slugging Hicks is a viable Hicks for the Twins.

diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 I'm just surprised he got a hit in the first two weeks of the season. I seem to remember a fun with numbers thread in 2013 where at one point, the Twins had more rainouts than Hicks had hits.
kydoty Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 At this rate, the Twins game will end around the time the Wild start up.
zenser Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Have the Twins tried giving Alex Meyer glasses? That worked well for Rickey Vaughn in Major League.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Rhett Bollinger ✔ @RhettBollingerToday's first pitch is scheduled for approximately 4:40 p.m. ET. We might just have a game.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 At this rate, the Twins game will end around the time the Wild start up. That would be continuous sports. I'm sure nature will let up shortly. I'm back and ready to pay attention, even if i should have done a few more errands...
woolywoolhouse Verified Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Game is on the radio. I forgot I had Gameday audio on at work, and suddenly I heard a choir in the background and couldn't find the tab the sound was emanating from. Anyone know- just because this game is starting 3hours 45minutes after the scheduled time, are people able to turn those tickets in for another game? That's more than a regular game's length to hang-out at a wet ballpark...
