It was going to be a steep climb to make the playoffs without Buck and Ryan. We don’t have enough depth and talent to make up the difference. Well, we could, but Jeremy Zoll is too afraid of adding Walker Jenkins for a playoff rally.

He's thinking ahead to next year's lockout.

Normally I listen to Shelton's postgame reaction.  Not tonight.  There is nothing tonight that he will say that will show any sign of hope.  Bullpen didn't execute and we didn't take advantage of the runners we had on base enough to win.  It's not a knock-on Shelton.  Just that there's nothing he can say tonight that will make this any better.

I'll be there Friday - no amount of lousy play can keep me away from Yacht Rock Night

Most fun I’ve ever had at a concert was a yacht rock revue band

I agree.  Let's have Ryan Jeffers, Royce Lewis, Brooks Lee, and Trevor Larnach be our new rotation.

Can't wait to blame them for getting shelled.

Honestly, your post deserves to be insulted for how catastrophically ridiculous it is.

the ignore button is your friend.

In summary, he was not a happy skipper. Didn’t say anything we all didn’t already know, of course.

The poor kid is playing out of position…. what would you do differently with this roster and expect anything different?

That’s what my wife said - “he looks dazed.”

I’ve been on a Billy Martin kick this summer. Read bios, watched documentaries. This team would’ve driven Billy absolutely insane.

Well, Roden has zero homeruns this year, so the real surprise would have been  if he DID homer.  Wallner only has 23 homers this year, so glad they had Roden for that key spot.

Are you seriously comparing AAA HR's to MLB HR's?

Who? Some person that I'm ignoring for lots of reasons? Don't know that person.

Plugging your ears doesn’t help….. all that does is keep you from learning everyone’s take on your team. We absolutely don’t need or want an echo chamber here.

If you want to compare MLB homers, Wallner has hit a homer every 17 ABs in the majors, while Roden has hit one every 100ABs.

Edit to compare minors homers:  Wallner 1HR every 16.5 ABs, Roden 1 HR every 32 ABs.

Hahaha. I listen to plenty of rational people I disagree with.
