VERY BIG  this constant injury issue ENOUGH...you cannot be a good team when your STAR player only plays in about half of possible games since his arrival in 2015. They need to plan accordingly in 2027. I am not trying to insult him by stating that he is faking it whatsoever, but how anybody can rely on him performing at a solid level...makes no sense if you want this team to succeed. ..including the FO, owner, manager, fans.

That's true.  The defense is likely better with Kreidler in CF and Clemens at 2B.  Our luck will be they move Lewis to 2B and play Caratini at 1B, which will negate the defensive advantage we get by playing Kreidler in CF.  

As for answering your other question, it will really depend on what their plan for Jenkins is.  If he was supposed to be a September callup, then calling him up to replace Buxton a few days early is a no brainer.  It does require a 40-man move, but they already DFA's Jackson and he cleared waivers once.  He could do it again.  If they are hell bent on not adding him to the 40-man, then you're likely right that they will call up Gray, although he has only played 6 games at 2B this year.

Jenkins is a better CF than Kreidler, that Kriedler is the best option on the 26 man rosters shows our shallow our depth is.  He is league average out there.

I think Jackson is here to stay, for whatever unknown reason they feel there is too much risk playing two catchers without another one on the bench.
