Some sites (like ESPN) have had that for a while, but MLB.com is still showing TBD.

It is Vasquez and the SD paper confirmed it. There was thought to pitch the Padres ace and hometown favorite Joe Musgrove who is returning after an injury. He his pitching one more game AAA this weekend before he returns....been doing very well with his AAA games. Similar to the Braves not starting their ace on Friday, the Twins are fortunate. The crowd will be crazy upon his return and Musgrove is talented and better pitcher than Vasquez. SD resident ..but Twins fan here

He was pulled because of injury.  Dropped his glove after one pitch in the second inning.

Ugh, I skimmed past this. Pablo plays catch, future star(ter) goes down 😭 damnit!

Joe Ryan, brother, our nation turns its lonely eyes to you.

The two pitchers were probably both on a mound at the same moment. Why is the universe needlessly beautifully cruel ..

Gray  ANOTHER homer

He is following Lewis' path; coupleof grand slams, cluster of triples and then PFFT, total collapse.

Now he is on his way back to the bigs.

Man, a lot of the teams we are rooting to lose are playing terrible teams

Astros playing A's
Rangers playing Angels
Guardians playing Rockies
Tigers playing Royals
White Sox playing Mets
Red Sox playing Giants

Just the Blue Jays are playing a good team (Yankees)

Luckily the teams we are rooting to lose…have also all lost more games than they have won.  Like the Twins.

Don't know if it is serious or not.

"Injury."

"Serious injury?"

"Is there any other kind, son?"

What’d we get for France from the jays? The buffalo bison’s bus driver or something?

*correction: I thought varland and france were different trades, but I guess that wouldn’t have made sense 😂

He got lumped in with Varland, some claim Roden was for France but I don't think he factored into the return at all.
