Minter 0 12 14 0 6 32 Seems like everyone should be pretty available. Even probably Yo-Go if necessary. They've used him three straight games earlier this season, but that was back when our bullpen was a hot mess. It could be that with more solid options and the off day tomorrow they just put Gomez off limits and give him two full days of rest. Nance collecting dust is a little odd (especially on Saturday). I think I'd rather see Rojas up for the road trip and plan for Prielipp to only go 4 innings on Friday and Rojas go 2-3 innings. Permanent Twins Fan and Patzky 2

Possumlad Verified Member Posted August 19 Posted August 19 Twins need to put their best line-up on the field today (as they have the first two games). Shelton needs to send a clear message to the team that we're in the home-stretch & need all hands on deck for a sweep today & final push the rest of the year. None of this "getaway day" line-up nonsense. Put your best players out there & let's keep our foot on the gas. Permanent Twins Fan, TCanWins, Parfigliano and 1 other 4
Permanent Twins Fan Verified Member Posted August 19 Posted August 19 4.0 back in the division, 0.5 back in the Wild Card. Let's win today, get the sweep and maybe get in playoff position by the end of the day. Go Twins! Mortimerkenny21 and Church of Kreidler 2

To his credit, he's managed to me the past two like a guy who knows what's at stake. I expect (no, demand!) the team plays with piss and vinegar today. To head to San Diego just 2 games under .500 after the Philly series would be massive. Patzky and Church of Kreidler 2
Permanent Twins Fan Verified Member Posted August 19 Posted August 19 No Jeffers today, but other than that I like today's lineup. I think it is okay to give Jeffers an occasional day off with him still recovering from the hamate bone injury. I love seeing Keaschall finding a home in the leadoff spot. And with the day off tomorrow I don't understand why he couldn't be in the lineup today. The only good news is we have a viable pinch hot option on the bench. mrmpls and TCanWins 2

Permanent Twins Fan Verified Member Posted August 19 Posted August 19 In the last 30 days, Alex Jackson is hitting .333 (4 for 12). If he had enough at-bats to qualify that would put him 5th in the American league in that stretch. His average on the season (.303) would put him top 10 in all of baseball. Just saying. 😀 Saxophone Joe, David HK, Church of Kreidler and 2 others 2 2 1

Smart to move him down if we have to play him.

Larnach is gassed or something.-- 29 year old Part timer if Gassed -Ouch afraid he just not a MLB level player at this stage , was hoping he would of got traded - he only gets in the way of younger players that we have to see and find out about while in a race for a possible w/c spot , Perfect time to see what we got , He has reached his peak !!!
