Trevor is hitting .269 with an OPS of .778 this year, I am not sure how you can say he hasn't earned playing time.  If you are going to replace him, do it with someone with more upside or who has actually produced this year and Roden hasn't in 3 different stints in the major leagues.

he is in a bad SLUMP  shelton know it by moving him way down

By that logic Clemens should have benched the first half of August, Buxton before he went on the IL and Bell for the month of July.  Slumps happen and right now Larnach has earned the right to play thru it until you have a better option.  And it's not Roden, they didn't even trust him to play defense in the 9th inning last night.

I’d like to see the catch probability on that single to left

Twins SP must rank very high in pitches per inning, right?

Taj had like 18 pitches through 2 innings and now somehow having only given up one run and two hits, he's at 88 pitches through 5.

Meanwhile...

.... and a Caratini 1-pitch AB to start the next inning

Clemens provides competent defense in different positions. Larnach might need to play through but find him the quietest corner to do it in.

So many crappy at bats today. If this inning is over in sixty seconds I hope there's someone warming up.

I was referring to Roden, who they didn't put in there last night.  As I recall when he was traded for, he was supposedly plus average defensively.

'Why aren't you applying that same logic to every other player that has been in a slump.  I don't hate Roden, but he hasn't shown that he is anymore than a 4th outfielder at best and if he can't be trusted to be a defensive replacement in the late innings than where is his value.
