Zebby gave the team exactly what was needed. Bravo!

Honestly was one of my favorite wins of the season. Every W feels huge right now. Get greedy tomorrow.

Sax...yes, every win is huge. Someone has to come out of this mad scramble for the last playoff spot and that team should have enough momentum built up to make a run. It might as well be us.

After thinking about this some more, I think Alex Jackson cursed the team when he’s DFA’d and reversed it when he was called back up, LOL. I am really starting to wish we had another year of control on Minter. He has been solid since coming over. I just hope Amick doesn’t make us regret that trade for a rental.

Gomez just keeps knocking down saves. That and Bell continues to rake at the end of the season.  I will have to update the playoff chances in my post trade thread but I was getting close to giving up on the team. One last point, Culpepper seems to be hitting his stride.  Let’s get the sweep!

Bell nearly put the ball in orbit!

Sorry, but I need to give a shoutout to Tyler Mahle. He's not having a great season but he was great last night, going into the 7th having given up just two runs on 6 hits and 76 pitches. He might have pitched a complete game on less than 100 pitches at that rate.

LOL.  I couldn't be less worried about a player haunting the Twins.

That and do you really think advancing in the Twins system would happen as quick - we have a power hitters in A.A.A. and will be stuck there forever. Wallner-Sabato  2 examples

What is going on with Nance? He hasn’t pitched in at least 5 days but was effective before that. Good to see Ryan was throwing off a mound before the game too.

A very nice win. Just when you think this team might be cooked, they rattle off 2 straight vs a top team. This isn't the best Twins squad we've seen in the past decade or anything, but they do battle.

Nice bounceback by Morris too; he was one of the guys who couldn't get it done against Philly, so good to see him looking strong vs Atl. I think we've found something in him as a bullpen piece.

Go get the sweep!

Yup, I think I would pick Lopez to extend over Ryan. Depending on if there is a season or not next year, that will be an interesting talking point.

I would extend both, but I would prioritize Lopez if I had to choose

I was wondering if maybe they're trying to keep him fresh to extend him for 3-4 innings in case Bradley loses control early in game 3?

Loved Zebby's performance and I really want him to rise in the rotation.  Also loved the teams play as the lineup did what it had to do.

So this comment should not diminish the storyline, but as a Braves' hater I am amazed at the quality pitchers they are putting up against us - yes sarcasm.  The mighty Braves rotation has really sunk low with injuries.

Pablo Lopez's stuff was in serious decline who usually underperforms his peripherals, and he's coming off a serious surgery. That's not who I would extend.

Nance and Alex Jackson are in the back of the clubhouse playing cards. Don't you dare disturb them!

Shelty's postgame interview was a fun one. A few references to his terse interview after Sunday's game. Said he didn't even talk to the players after Sunday's game because (paraphrasing here) talking to the team after a loss like that is for the manager's benefit, not the players'.
