Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Might be good news.. Atlanta announced the recall of SP AJ Smith-Shawver from AAA and the assignment of last night's RP Tyler Kinley. It's good news because AJSS will start Wednesday against the Twins and Chris Sale will be pushed to Friday's game. Want Kinley? Probably not. Saxophone Joe Verified Member Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Big moment/opportunity tonight for Zebby. Need at least 6 innings from him. Let's go, Youngblood! weitz41, IndyTwinsFan, Patzky and 3 others 6
Mortimerkenny21 Verified Member Posted August 18 Posted August 18 A win tonight would be maybe a glimmer of hope. Tough game for sure though, we shall see. And see how much fight we have. Need some improvement on plate appearances especially with RISP. Was brutal last night, our pitching saved us. This is why we watch! Go Twins!! Church of Kreidler, RpR, Saxophone Joe and 2 others 5
howeda7 Verified Member Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Please leave Keashall in the lead-off spot, Derek. Larnach can hit 3rd. Mortimerkenny21, Church of Kreidler, weitz41 and 2 others 5

I mean, we could be atop the Wild Card standings with a W and some help. Which is bonkers. There are basically all but 3 teams in the AL right now that have legitimate playoff hopes. Not likely to displace either the Rouge Stockings or the New York Hanky-pankys at this point.

S Bart Verified Member Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Mahle was such a disappointment as a Twin. Hope he will be one for the Braves today. . Church of Kreidler, Mortimerkenny21, Parfigliano and 1 other 4
Permanent Twins Fan Verified Member Posted August 18 Posted August 18 No Buxton is interesting. I don't mind giving him a rest except for it means that Keaschall is back in CF. Yikes. Other than that I like today's lineup. Keaschall is leading off again which I think he deserves.

Yeah, injuries really suck. He is due for regression today, his first two starts with ATL were very good: 12 IP, 1R, 1/ER, 16/2 K/BB, 1HR.

HarmonK03 Verified Member Posted August 18 Posted August 18 You can move Clemens down in the order as well, I am not sure why he is hitting in front of Lewis.
