Just tell them that he's setting up for Halloween early.  Maybe he'll find Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin!

Well.those look like pretty expensive tombstones..and the dates and names are the same...maybe time for a new movie...and...Twins don't usually play in October

There’s always tomorrow, but splitting a home stand with the A’s and Royals is not confidence inspiring.

Four out of six is fine...

If Lewis wasn't an early pick, would anyone care if he wasn't here? He has one good year. One.

So we have a ton of crappy at bats and you decide to single out Lewis, really makes no sense.

Pathetic lifeless performance. No urgency. No spark. Horrible body language. Dominated by DOBNAK! Total embarrassment. All for the home fans.

Last’s night’ high lasted one pitch. To tomorrow. Wake up boys.

Maybe Dobnak deserves a bit of credit also

Sounds about right on when they would finally bring them up.  Still in front of the September 1st deadline in case they stumble into the playoffs, but with not enough time that they still get to keep a year of control.  I think that is a small issue that they want to work on in the new CBA.  Their original great idea of trying to reward teams by playing their rookies all year has not worked how they wanted it to pan out.  They need to give more incentive for teams like the Twins to actually bring them up when they are ready.

Year of control has nothing to do with it. That wouldn’t matter again until next year

Normally one has to be a LHP that can touch 87mph to shutdown TC like tonight

Day game with LHP tomorrow. Cameron throws harder than that though. He’s beat us twice this year.

Ryan would have looked a lot better with the Twins scoring 5-6 runs.

No he still would have looked not himself

But if you keep them as a rookie by not bringing them up until mid-August, wouldn't you keep them from Super 2 status and thus get one additional year of Pre-Arb?

Probably, because he is such a great pitcher. Has frightened the league for years.

He's doing something right this year with about 25 IP and a WHIP and ERA around 1.

A pitcher does not have to throw all fastballs to win a game

No. The super-2 thing passed in June.

Living in Padreland....all fans here hate the Dodgers...they are willing to put the money forth and have unlimited funds...

I just heard yesterday....the Dodgers charter two planes for every road trip. One is just for the 26 players. 2nd is for everyone else...coaches,  media, and gear. Etc.
