Don't let facts get in the way of your narrative. okay mr Boras !! until he learns to lay off those pitches that are a foot of the plate , there gonna keep tempting him , , i want him to be the Player we all thought - No narrative here !!

It seems like his stuff is there he's just not locating, and executing his pitches early in the count. When he's behind in the count it seems like he gets predictable and hangs some cookies that the hitters don't miss. He has been better tonight, that hit by Greene was a good pitch, but I think hitters are catching on to him. IMO The curveball to Dingler he hung though. Vanimal46 and Chris Hove 2

Again, two strikes, you protect the plate, the pitch was not that far outside. And he has been letting more of those low and outside pitches go since his call up. We need more production from him, but I am seeing changes and being honest about it. Western SD Fan and Church of Kreidler 2

He’s a chucker that throws balls at the plate and when not throwing strikes is not very good. Tampa gave him every opportunity to stay in the rotation, what we are seeing is why they gave up. You’re probably right. The 2026 Twins are the perfect team to keep trying him as a SP. The Rays have bigger ambitions like winning the AL East and advancing deep in the playoffs. We’re gonna lose more than win games this year. Blyleven2011 and Hunter4848 2

I dont know why the last 5 starts he's just not throwing the ball well. No velo drop but it's almost like the hitters have done their homework on him and he's gotten predictable. Pitchers are streaky just like hitters ... Maybe he can regroup and throw some scoreless innings , they hit him hard in second inning ... Church of Kreidler 1

Agree, I would keep running him out… but I don’t expect much different. He’ll have his moments , but his control is the issue, always has been. Vanimal46 and Patzky 2
