Notching double-digit runs is pretty fun, do that again. Mikolas has struggled, to be generous, while Bailey Ober is a warlock, casting ineptitude spells on opposing batters while hurling 85mph heat right into the box.

Any chance the Twins will finally give Aaron Sabato a chance to play some first base or DH. Seems to be swinging it well at AAA. I would like to see him get a shot at MLB level. Maybe he us just a late blooming guy. Fedko is playing well too.

A number of players need to go on the IL before Sabato even gets brought up in a conversation. The guy can hit a grooved pitch. I watched the Saints game last night and wondered what the Las Vegas pitchers were doing throwing it middle middle to Sabato. The last pitcher did not. Glad Sabato had a big game. He is still working on the dream. Also, Sabato cannot play first base, he is a DH.

Tonight, Ober will provide quite the contrast from Taj Bradley. Meanwhile the Twins face a struggling pitcher after crushing a guy coming off consecutive 10 K outings. What will be the hitting strategy?

Might be that the contrast between Ober and Taj will baffle the Nat Bats.

What about Fedko?

I have been hoping for this for years, but they don't seem to be in the Twins' plans anytime soon, unfortunately.

I'm not sure what more the Twins need to see in Fedko. He can hit, field, and steal bases. The problem is his position. With E-rod, Jenkins, and Gonzalez all top prospects, it's unfortunate that all of that outfield talent blocks him. I'm not sure why the Twins are keeping Outman, because IMO Fedko is the same type of player with a better bat and a little less speed. Fedko has been playing first base as well, so that might be his only way in. I hope he gets the call soon, but it's not likely.

Guys with a 7 something OPS getting more at bats than guys with 5 something OPS is a good thing!

Wonder why they haven't tried to flip him for a lottery ticket. You would think another team would take a flier and hope they catch lightening in a bottle at DH. He strikes out  some,  a little like Gallo, doesn't have a glove so that may be why. I mean if La tortuga could get a chance, a free swinger, you think Sabato could get an MLB chance. Maybe his future is in Bananna ball.
