The max is 13 pitchers on a roster, subtract the 5 starters, and you get a max of 8 pitchers.  Now that was in the day before Common Core math so who knows today! 🙂

I would add Topa to the list of relievers to get rid of along with Banda and Garcia.  He has been bad since the pre season and they keep firing him out there.

But our recent old friend Zak Kent is currently warming up in the Nationals bullpen.  If he pitches as well for them as he did us, we still may be in this game!

Just last week he had a low 3 ERA now it’s gonna balloon up to 6. He’s been difficult to root for since we traded Polanco for him and that other SP who didn’t throw a single pitch for us
