I would still contend that if you stopped prior to trading away Varland this would be a completely different bullpen.  There would be a more defined role at the end of the pen and everyone else may fall a little better into place.

Apart from being a questionable trade, the Varland trade was just awful PR. You don't trade a good, controllable, hometown pitcher.

Holy geez!  The cope is real!  Tim Laudner is calling Banda "normally reliable"?  Are we watching the same games? He has a 9.00 ERA.  I would trust a lot lizard with a $100 bill more than I would Banda trying to hold a game.

How did Andrew Chafin or Liam Hendriks not make this team? Chafin has a sub 1 ERA for the Reds AAA team in 10 appearances. Hendriks looks like he quietly went into retirement.

Right now Zoll is making the coffee because the Tom won’t let him hire an admin. He runs the coffee pot on the spent grounds at least twice so they don’t have to skimp on the Folgers.

Is there anything at all to gain by keeping Banda and Garcia on the roster? Let Rojas get some work against MLB competition. Have him piggyback Prielipp. Hopefully Festa gets back soon and he can get a look out of the pen. 

Wins or losses are almost irrelevant at this point. Start building towards the future and cut the dead weight and retreads.

How has Pohlad been in terms of interacting and being accessible to the media? Because he seemed to be making the rounds a little bit back in January and February. That's when hope springs eternal for every team. But he should show his face now and own that 'contention' comment.

One reliever, even a good one, would make little difference. 

Good bullpens are 10 - 11 deep. Bad pitchers dont get better because you pitch them in the 7th instead of the 8th.

That's not the TC way.  They think they have a shot at the division because every team in it so far is junk.

Pohlad should unannounced work a random concession stand an hour a night and get in touch with the common fans perspective on TC baseball.
