The Great Hambino Verified Member Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Well that certainly was the infielding equivalent of putting out a fire with gasoline
Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Welp that went askew quickly Peter and Parfigliano 1 1
RpR Verified Member Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Keaschall's still a rookie. Peter and mrtwinsfan 1 1
Twins_Fan_in_NJ Verified Member Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Some really bad defense this inning - Bell could've made a play and Luke turned into a t-baller. Bites them in the butt. mrtwinsfan 1
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Ugh. About as poor a play(s) an infielder can make. And Story made Sim pay the full price. Danchat and mrtwinsfan 2

Twindy Verified Member Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Sim is not cutting it. Better get it in gear or his spot is up for grabs. Peter 1

Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted April 15 Posted April 15 I guess we have put up runs that rapidly too so it shouldn't surprise to see other teams do it too.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Dosent help when the Pitcher forgets how many outs , rough !!!!!!!!

exeoud Verified Member Posted April 15 Posted April 15 SWR better learn a sweeper or something with more glove side movement or he's gonna be back in the minor leagues, he is way too easy to hone in on when every pitch is vertical and the slider is basically a gyro slider that doesn't move horizontally.
Possumlad Verified Member Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Not to be alarmist or negative (hey, we're gonna lose once in a while), but I wonder what the leash will look like for SWR & Wallner this year. Genuinely curious. Shelty clearly values consistency & has a longer leash than Rocco, but in my mind those two are most likely to lose their spots if they sputter along for another month. At the very least, I gotta think Wallner's back in a RHP platoon role unless he turns things around. While he clearly has the most pure pop of about anyone, I have no faith at all watching him flail away at the plate. The inability to touch high fastballs is a potentially fatal flaw. tony&rodney Verified Member Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Stuff happens. The defense has been steady most of the time and the Twins have done better reducing mental mistakes until today. The three mental mistakes are what I want to see disappear. Can the Twins be a team that comes back? They have shown a ton of emotion. Maybe we see a little resilience now. Patzky and Peter 2
