Possumlad Verified Member Posted April 6 Posted April 6 These next two series are big. Fall even 3-4 more games under 0.500 & you lose the casual fan before the wearm-weather season even really starts. Twins need to hang within 3-5 games of 0.500 to keep folks interested through the ASB. hitterscount 1

The NHL and NBA playoffs are right around the corner. Hopefully both the Wild and Timberwolves have deep playoff runs to distract from this lousy Twins team. I'm in a house with a few casual fans who are fired up for spring & summer baseball. They'll lose interest if the Twins suck enough, but outside of that they don't know enough about individual players to care about the blow-up from last year. Hosken Bombo Disco 1

Being a DH hasn't been kind to his hitting though..

Western SD Fan Verified Member Posted April 6 Posted April 6 I must have missed the reason why there are only 3 umpires tonight? Can anyone shed some light on that?

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6 Posted April 6 MLB really did screw the Twins this year scheduling 20 home games from April 1 - May 3rd. What did they expect?
Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Six outs on 25 pitches, not peak efficiency but pretty good compared to what we usually see.
