These next two series are big. Fall even 3-4 more games under 0.500 & you lose the casual fan before the wearm-weather season even really starts. Twins need to hang within 3-5 games of 0.500 to keep folks interested through the ASB.

The casual fan was lost last season when we shipped off 10 players over 36 hours. The NHL and NBA playoffs are right around the corner. Hopefully both the Wild and Timberwolves have deep playoff runs to distract from this lousy Twins team.

I disagree. I'm in a house with a few casual fans who are fired up for spring & summer baseball. They'll lose interest if the Twins suck enough, but outside of that they don't know enough about individual players to care about the blow-up from last year.

I think you're living with clueless fans not casual fans...

Except that means we have Outman playing (and hitting) tonight.  Double yuk!

The Wild, maybe.  The Woofies, I'm not so sure of any more.

I'm hoping a return to the leadoff spot kindles Buxton's bat. Being a DH hasn't been kind to his hitting though..

Injuries are piling up for the Wolves at the wrong time

Lol challenge a one strike call in the first inning. Nice.

yeah, there needs to be some rules for the challenge system for the Twind hitters.  That was a terrible challenge from Larnauch.

If you are out of town and watching on tv, don’t let the sunshine fool you. It is extremely cold for baseball and the wind chill makes it feel like -50 below today lol

honestly, if the feels like temperature was 10 degrees I’d believe it, it’s nasty out there

Six outs on 25 pitches, not peak efficiency but pretty good compared to what we usually see.

MLB really did screw the Twins this year scheduling 20 home games from April 1 - May 3rd. What did they expect?

White Sox have rescheduled tomorrow evenings game to the afternoon due to cold.
